This Sunday we are in for a treat with the classic double header of the Catford and Bec CC hillclimbs. The Catford is billed as the oldest cycle race in the world with the The first edition taking place in 1887, when 24 riders tackled Westerham Hill in Kent. Over the years the race has used several Kent hills but its true home is Yorks Hill, a short, sharp climb of around 700 yards near Sevenoaks. The hill has also hosted the national championship, including in 1961, and the course record dates from 1983. The Bec CC Hill Climb is equally well loved having been run since 1956 and It takes place on White Lane (known to cyclists as Titsey Lane) near Limpsfield, Surrey, and is run in the afternoon after the Catford event, which gives the "Cat and Bec" double header its name. Organise your club ride to come and watch the scenes, we have nearly 100 starters in both. First rider off at 9.31 at the Catford and the Bec race starts at 2pm. . @cyclingtimetrials

2025 Henry was getting his head in a bush at Crystal Palace Crits. What a progression through to this weekend taking his first pro win at the ZLM tour in the Netherlands. Incredible, massive congratulations fella!

Saturday at the 3rd edition of the Sherpa Performance stage race in Essex was dry, hot and fast. Hosted by Dominic and the team at Schils racing, it was a select field in the 1 and 2 cat races, with four stages over the weekend, around Colchester. . Congratulations to Ollie Wood from RCC taking the win at last night's Sheffield Open Grand Prix. As with the women's race, this also counts as the final round of the Rapha Superleague after Cambridge was recently cancelled. It was a close affair all evening with the final decisive break of 5 riders going clear on lap 5. . Congratulations to Katie Scott on last night's impressive win in the final round of the British Cycling National Circuit series on the historic Sheffield town center streets. In addition to being part of the circuit series, Sheffield also hosted the final round of the Rapha Superleague. DAS Hutchinson played the game, sending Morven away in an early break that was reeled in by the peleton only for Katie to then take the opportunity, staying away to the finish line. Some highlights of our top 5 on the night, from the ever great Cycle Exchange Guildford open criterium. Trading places through the night, our leaders put on a show and It all came down to a three man sprint to the line, taken by Tom Armstrong, with Toby Barnes just edging Mak Larkin on the line for second place.
